delete your account

In the app

1. Open Odds Are and tap your avatar at the top of the home screen.
2. Scroll down and tap delete my account.
3. Confirm with delete for good.

Your phone needs to be online. The account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email support@oddsare.link with the subject "Delete my account" and your nickname. Send it from the email connected to the account, so we know it's yours. We'll delete it within 7 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: nickname, avatar, birth year and email.
• Your scores on every leaderboard.
• Your friends, friend requests and invite keys.
• Groups you created (and their member lists), and your membership of other groups.
• Quick messages you sent and online games you created.

Online chess games you played in someone else's game stay in their history, with your nickname removed. Copies in our providers' backups are gone within 30 days. Your nickname can't be recovered afterwards.

Game progress saved on your phone (stats, settings, saved games) isn't part of your account. It's removed when you delete the app.
